On Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 4:57 p.m., deputies responded to the BMO Harris Bank at 4380 N. Campbell Ave. for report of a robbery. When deputies arrived they learned a male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and stated, “This is a robbery!” and then stated, “Give me the money, and do not push any buttons!” A demand note was also observed on letter head from a neighboring bank. The suspect left on foot in an unknown direction with approximately $4,000 cash. The suspect is described as: • Caucasian in his 30s or 40s • Approximately 6’0” tall, thin build • Last seen wearing a black and red long sleeved shop style shirt, blue jeans, and a light colored hat with flaps to cover his neck and ears. Robbery/Assault Unit detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
