Circle K Robbery With a Shotgun

Sent on 10/26/2012 12:03:42 PM

On October 21, 2012, at approximately 6:13 p.m., the Pima County Sheriff’s Department received a 9-1-1 call advising that the Circle K at 5818 South Palo Verde Road had just been robbed. Several deputies from the Sheriff’s San Xavier District responded to the scene. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division also responded to the store. Prior to the 9-1-1 call being made, an unidentified male suspect entered the store and threatened the clerk with a shotgun. Several customers were present as well. He demanded money from the cash register. Once his demands were met, he fled from the store on foot and was last seen running westbound on Milton Road. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a light complexion, approximately 5’10” to 6’00” tall. He was wearing khaki pants, black tennis shoes, a black shirt (long sleeved with the sleeves rolled up), a black baseball cap and glasses. Witnesses remembered the suspect had a hoarse voice. Anyone who can identify the suspect or has any other information on this case is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
