The Pima County Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit is asking the public for help. Detectives are currently investigating a robbery of the Quik Mart store located at 900 W. Roger Road. The incident occurred on September 12, 2014, at approximately 9:11 PM. Deputies who initially responded to the store learned that a young Hispanic man had been in the store and attempted to leave with two 18-packs of beer. When confronted by the store clerk, the young man made threatening remarks. During that interaction, the clerk also noticed a gun in the teenager’s back pocket. He was last seen walking northbound along Fairview Avenue. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, between 16 and 18 years old, and approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a black and white checkered shoulder pattern. The shirt also had red and black tassels. The young man wore a red and black baseball cap, sunglasses, dark blue jeans and red shoes. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or any other information about this case is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
