On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, deputies responded to a residence in the 3400 block of West Elan Place for a report of a burglary. When deputies arrived, they learned the burglary had occurred sometime during the day while the homeowners were away from the home. Deputies also learned a safe containing multiple firearms, jewelry, and credit cards had been taken. Later it was discovered that two male suspects had used the victim’s credit card at multiple locations in Tucson shortly after the burglary took place. The suspects were seen driving an older model white GMC panel van with significant front-end damage. The first male suspect is described as: • Caucasian, in his 20s • Approximately 5’10” to 6’1” in height, medium build • Last seen wearing a dark plaid button-down shirt, cargo shorts, and either a red or black hat The second male suspect is described as: • Caucasian, in his 20s • Approximately 5’10” to 6’2” in height, skinny build • Last seen wearing a dark t-shirt, skinny jeans, and a black hat Burglary Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects and vehicle in this case.
