October 21, 2016 On August 6, 2016, Fraud Unit detectives received a report of a man and woman using a cloned debit card to purchase a $400 gift card. The pair entered the Ross store, located at 4425 North Oracle Road, and tried to purchase the gift card using three different debit/credit cards that were declined. The suspects then tried a fourth card, which contained stolen debit card information, and the transaction went through. With the use of the cards that were declined, detectives are working to identify other potential victims. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspects. The male suspect is described as: • Hispanic with black or brown hair • 5’8” in height, and an average build. • He was last seen wearing a short sleeve button down shirt, jeans, and white shoes. The female suspect is described as: • Hispanic with long dark hair • 5’6” in height, and a small build. • She was last seen wearing a dark shirt, white shorts, and sandals.
