On Monday, April 10, 2017, at approximately 11:20 p.m., deputies responded to the Diamond Shamrock located at 6175 South Kolb Road for a report of a strong arm robbery. When they arrived, deputies learned two male suspects had committed the robbery and left in a silver four door sedan which was missing a hubcap. Surveillance footage revealed the two suspects entered the store together just after 11:15 p.m. and the second suspect paid cash for gas before returning to the vehicle. The first suspect attempted to use a counterfeit bill to pay for some items; however, the clerk did not accept the bill. He then walked behind the counter and pushed the clerk, which caused her to fall and break her wrist. The suspect took tobacco products from the shelves and ran out of the store. The suspects left in the sedan in an unknown direction. The first suspect is described as: • Hispanic, appearing to be in his early 20s • Average height and build • Last seen wearing a gray beanie, gray long sleeve Adidas shirt, and khaki pants The second suspect is described as: • Caucasian, appearing to be in his early 20s • Tall and slim build • Last seen wearing a green baseball hat, red shirt, and khaki pants Robbery Assault detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying both individuals from this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
