On January 9, 2017, Foothills District deputies received a fraud report from a local landscape company. Deputies learned someone used the company’s Home Depot credit card to purchase almost $4,000 in unauthorized merchandise. These fraudulent purchases occurred at three separate Home Depot locations over the course of five days. Fraud Unit detectives have taken over the investigation. Detectives reviewed surveillance video and discovered the same suspect making the charges. They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. The suspect is described as: • A Caucasian or Hispanic male, in his 30s to 40s with a goatee • Approximately 5’10” in height, with a heavy build • Last seen wearing a black baseball hat, red hooded sweatshirt with “GAP” on it, and gray sweatpants.
