On Thursday, April 5, 2018, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the TJ Maxx store located at 6230 North Oracle Road for the report of shoplifting. When they arrived, deputies learned the incident in question had occurred the day prior, on April 4th, at approximately 5:15 p.m., when two male suspects were observed entering the store separately. The two men were seen selecting a duffel bag off one of the shelves, and then loading multiple clothing items into the bag. The first suspect exited the store at approximately 5:30 p.m., followed shortly thereafter by the second suspect who was carrying the loaded duffel bag. The first suspect is described as: • Hispanic, in his 20s, with dark hair in a ponytail • Medium height and build • Last seen wearing a gray or white t-shirt and tan pants The second suspect is described as: • Caucasian, in his 20s, with short dark hair and a full beard • Approximately 6’0” to 6’3” in height, large build • Last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue sweatpants Community Problems Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying both suspects.
