On October 28, 2013, at 6:56 p.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the 3200 block of West Lobo Road reference a missing person. While en route, they were advised that 27-year-old Tara King had gone on a walk and had not returned home. Her home is in the area of Overton Road and Camino De La Tierra. Ms. King is diagnosed with Autism and functions at a 15 year-old level. She left her home at 2:30 p.m. and was supposed to return at 5:00 p.m. Ms. King does not have access to a vehicle or cell phone. Ms. King has brown hair in a ponytail, blue eyes, is 5’6” tall, and weighs 105 lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top, red fleece jacket, dark colored jeans, and a lavender colored backpack. Ms. King is known to travel in the area of Overton Road and Thornydale Road, and sometimes goes to the Foothills Mall. Anyone with information on Ms. King’s whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
