Quick Mart Armed Robbery

On Sunday, April 29, 2018, at approximately 0525 hours, deputies responded to the Quick Mart at 900 W. Roger Rd., for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned a Hispanic male entered the Quick Mart, asked the clerk for a cup of water, and became verbally aggressive when told there were no courtesy cups. A short time later the suspect walked behind the counter with a canister of mace in his left hand stating, “I’m not messing around!” telling the clerk to get out of the way, then grabbed several lottery tickets and pushed him on the way out of the store. He was last seen leaving the Quick Mart then entering a white Toyota Camry style vehicle that left in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as: • A Hispanic male in his mid- 20s to early 30s, • Approximately 5’7”, 180lbs.., bald/ brown hair, brown eyes • Last seen wearing a light blue hoodie, baggie blue jeans and dark colored shoes with white soles • Last seen in a white colored Toyota Camry with a possible passenger Robbery/Assault Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.
