The Pima County Sheriff's Department is proud to offer Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) courses free of charge, to Pima County residents, thanks to a grant from the Department of Justice. R.A.D. Systems was established in 1989 and believes that self-defense should be easy to learn, easy to retain, and relatively easy to employ during real confrontational situations. R.A.D. is designed to teach and empower women ages 12 and older to fight against sexual assaults and attacks. Our next two day class will be held on March 5 & 12, 2016. To sign up go to http://www.pimasheriff.org/department-services/rad and submit the online form. Once that has been completed you will be contacted by one of our R.A.D coordinators. If you have any questions call the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Community Resources Unit at (520) 351-4615. Sign up soon; classes fill quickly. Hope to see you there.
