On October 1, 2018 Sheriff Napier was elected to serve as the Vice President of the Arizona Sheriff’s Association. He will assume that office for a two-year term starting January 1, 2019. This is an especially high honor for Sheriff Napier as he was nominated and unanimously elected by his peer Sheriffs in the State. The Arizona Sheriff’s Association is an organization comprised of all fifteen elected county sheriffs who have sworn to maintain the public trust through open, honest and ethical administration of their respective offices and exercising integrity and professionalism in the use of their constitutional powers and authority. This is the first time that a Pima County Sheriff has been elected to serve as an officer of the Association. Sheriff Napier is proud to be increasing the recognition of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and extending his leadership to a statewide level.
