February 20, 2017 Today, at approximately 12:00 p.m., San Xavier District deputies responded to the 10400 block of South Epperson Lane for a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found 37-year-old Saul Saucedo-Zavala with gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began rendering aid, using their Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK), until Rural Metro Fire Department arrived and took over treating Mr. Saucedo-Zavala. Despite their efforts, Mr. Saucedo-Zavala was pronounced deceased on scene. The Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect. The suspect is described as: • Hispanic man in his 30’s • Last seen wearing a gray baseball hat and gray shirt • Driving a small gray pickup. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
