On Thursday, February 8, 2018, deputies responded to the Tucson Endurance Performance Center, located at 6488 North Oracle Road, for the report of an audible alarm. Upon arriving at the location, deputies noticed the glass on one of the front doors had been broken. No one was located in the store, but the owner subsequently discovered two bicycles and three pairs of sunglasses had been taken. On March 8, 2018, an employee of the store was at BICAS, located at 2001 North 7th Avenue. The employee noticed a bicycle which fit the description of one of the stolen bicycles had been brought to BICAS by a suspect. The employee verified, through the serial number, it was the stolen bicycle. When the suspect was informed the police were being called, he fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as: • Caucasian, in his 20s, with brown hair • Last seen wearing a backwards baseball cap, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, red tennis shoes, and a backpack Burglary Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.
