Update: Armed Robbery Suspect Information February 26, 2018 Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are asking for assistance in identifying suspects in multiple armed robberies that occurred on February 17, 2018. Both cash and lottery tickets were taken in this incidents and the lottery tickets were later redeemed by two female suspects at various locations. The suspects are described as: • An African American male, 5’06, average build, black hoodie, tan pants • A Hispanic or Native American female, straight black hair • A Caucasian female with dark hair A suspect vehicle is described as a 1990’s model silver or gray four door Honda Accord with damage to the rear bumper. Original Release: Armed Robbery Of Convenience Stores February 17, 2018 On Saturday February 17, 2018, at approximately 6:45 p.m, deputies responded to the Chevron at 3780 West Magee Road for the report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned a male suspect had robbed the store at knife point and left the area. At approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies responded to the Circle K located at 5635 North La Cholla Boulevard for another report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned this store was also robbed at knifepoint. The suspect left in what was described as a silver sedan with a sun roof. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the same suspect was involved in both robberies. The male suspect is described as: • African American, possibly in his 20s • Approximately 5’7” to 5’9” in height, average build • Last seen wearing a black stocking cap, a black hoodie, and light gray or tan pants. Detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
